Notes: While I was doing research for this book, I visited house by house asking questions and looking through photo albums. When I got to the photo albums belonging to Viola, I learned that she kept family record books and scrap books of every card or letter she had ever gotten. She even kept the little cards that came with flowers, boxed valentines cards she had gotten from children, newspaper articles about family, funeral cards and wedding invitations. What a wonderful things she kept. It was easy to see, how much she cared about her family, nieces, nephews and cousins.
