Photos | Obediah and Laura E Harrison Family This photograph of Obediah and Laura E Harrison's family is a tintype photograph. It was taken in 1898, in Texas County Missouri, just a short time before Obediah passed away, and found in the home of Juanita Clower Kirby Wells. Juanita still lives on the farm which has been in the family since the early 1900s. Shortly after Obediah passed away in 1900, his wife Laura and her children went to Oklahoma where her son Alph Harrison married Nellie Laurence who's family owned this farm. Laura passed away in their home on this farm and it is believed that this photograph was in her possessions. Back: Ulysses Adolphus “Liss”, Alta and George Alphus “Alph” Middle: Obediah, Belle and Laura E (Laura’s maiden name was Harrison) Front: Cassie |
