Quote from Pamela Ruth Hennessee, "My Daddy said that Uncle George went to register for the draft, came home undressed folding and hanging his clothes on the back of a chair, then crawled into bed and never got out again until the undertaker came. Uncle George had a young wife (Cora Lawson) and a baby daughter (Naola b 1917) The family was so lucky they only lost Uncle George because he died from the Flu of 1918."

Hennessee Family History indicates George dying at only 23 years old and had no children.
